Welcome to my blog dedicated to the glorious world of cinema
I have loved the movies from as far back as I can remember. My fasination started, I expect, with a desire to be on camera. As a precocious 5 year old I used to come home from school and watch Meet Me In St. Louis ever night and dance round the living room pretending to be Judy Garland. After that it was Olivia Newton-John in Grease and eventually graduated to Beatrice Dalle in Betty Blue (I was going through a stage!) Of course now I'm nearly 30 and no longer dream of playing a flamboyant protagonist, unless of course it involves getting off with a dishy leading man, but I still love to escape into the world of movies when I get the chance. Having completed an undergraduate degree in Film History, Theory and Analysis I am embarking on an MA Film and wanted to rekindle my love for all things cinema related. So here is my blog. I hope you enjoy reading it and sharing in some of my guilty pleasures.
29 year old girl escapes surburbia with boyf and baby son for a year in France to recharge batteries and question the complexities of life, love and living one of her (many) dreams. This is a small taste of the everyday rantings and ravings inside this mush-pit of a brain I call home. Enjoy!
